Musical Roots and Story
Selena first found her voice in the 1990s as part of the UK road protest movement, where she lived outdoors with a community of musicians and eco-activists. There, around campfires and protest camps, she learned by ear—absorbing traditional British and European folk songs, protest chants, and the spirit of grassroots resistance.
She spent a decade travelling on foot with the nomadic Dongas Tribe, jamming, busking, performing, and leading Bal Folk dance events across the South West... living simply with handcarts, donkeys, canvas shelters, and music.
In the early 2000s, Selena trained as a community musician and holistic singing teacher. Since then, she’s led dozens of workshops and helped hundreds of people find joy and freedom in their voices.
Her songwriting weaves in this lived experience—earth-based spirituality, seasonal traditions, and life lived close to the land. She’s written nearly 50 original songs, including a unique cycle honouring the eight Pagan/Celtic seasonal festivals.
In 2024, Selena released her debut digital single, We Are The Witches. It's a compelling, empowering song that honours the persecuted wise women of European history.
Audiences describe her music as magical, rich, joyful, and heartwarming. Her songs have very singable, catchy choruses and Selena often gets the whole audience joining in.
Selena has performed at local festivals and community events in Devon and Somerset, and is now expanding her reach with upcoming digital releases and more live shows.

Upcoming Projects
Selena’s next single, Tune In To Your Power, will be released on 13th June 2025. It’s an energising, empowering track that calls listeners to reconnect with their inner strength, nature, and community. The song features mandolin, flutes, Galician bagpipes, bass, and vibrant vocal harmonies.
Following this, she’ll release her debut EP, Waken Your Fire—a five-song journey themed around self-empowerment. The EP will be available as a limited-edition CD in late August 2025.
Through the autumn and winter, Selena will continue to release each track from the EP on all major streaming platforms.
She’s also planning a new round of live gigs in Autumn 2025 to support the release and connect with wider audiences.
